Synopsis

A Book of Myths is a collection of mythological stories around the world compiled by Jeanie Lang.  This collection contains more than twenty five stories and most of them are illustrated with colorful pictures. While most of the stories are based on Greek mythology, which were quoted by popular in popular Greek historical works such as Iliad’s Homer, Elegies’s Propertius, and Plutarch.

Notable stories among them are Pygmalion, Prometheus and Pandora, Endymion, Apollo and Daphine, The Calydonian hunt, Perseus the hero, King Midas of the golden touch, Echo and Narcissus, The cranes of Ibycus, The death of Adonis, The death of Baldur, Beowulf, and The children of Lir.
