Synopsis

Antiquities of the Jews, is composed by Flavius Josephus, a historian and Romano-Jewish scholar.

This book details the history of the Jewish people narrated right from the creation of Adam and Eve. Initial volumes of the books is based on the records of Hebrew Bible and preceded beyond biblical text till the Jewish war. The author defends and differs from various misconceptions circulated during his time about the Jewish people. To be specific, Jewish did have credible history of their people and did not harbor hostility toward non-Jews. Contrary to popular beliefs, Jewish did not lack in loyalty, respecting authority and charity.
