Gorgias is a dialogue written by Plato, which narrates Socrates’s quest for true definition of rhetoric and concluding it that rhetoric cannot exist alone, which must depend on philosophy to guide its morality. It is believed by Socrates that morality is not impeded in rhetoric, while it is simply used for personal gains and flattery.
