The author was advocating a conservative and orthodox view on sex. Masturbation would lead to poor physical, mental and moral health of individuals especially in young human. Sexual knowledge need not to be taught as an instruction which can lead only to excitement, it can be obtained by the children naturally. Too much sex should be avoided, even if it is practiced under legal and moral grounds. Two meals a day containing vegetarian food could help to reduce the sexual feelings and stimulating foods, drinks especially meat should not be consumed to avoid temptations.
