Poems and Songs of Robert Burns is the complete collection of the works of the Scottish poet, whose work spanned across nearly three decades from 1771 to 1796.  This national poet of Scotland had been struggling throughout his life right from getting his primary education to make a living through farming. Most his ventures in farming was ill-fated and even his marriage was irregular marriage with Jean was called off by her father and he had many struggles in making his marriage lawful. With his entertaining style, he had the ability to write about anything including history, politics, nationalism, and illicit affairs.
