The Seven Against Thebes is a tragedy play dramatized by Aeschylus about the preceding incidents in the Thebes kingdom after Oedipus exiled himself from the Kingdom after the tragedy of knowing he has married his own mother. His sons Eteocles and Polynices agreed to rule the kingdom in rotation of one year. However after the first year Eteocles not stepping down from the kingdom and Polynices plot to attack the kingdom by raising an Army of Seven commanders. The city is attacked from seven gates and all commanders had been repelled and in the seventh gate it was Polynices who fights with his own brother. In the end the brothers fight against each other and both of them gets killed by the other.
