The Adventure of Wisteria Lodge

Synopsis

The Adventure of Wisteria Lodge, a short story written in two parts which is also part of Arthur Conan Doyle’s His Last Bow series of detective stories. Garcia found dead at one o’ clock morning at his rented house The Wisteria Lodge. A note at his pocket states that John Scott Eccles met him on the previous night.  As he could be arrested Eccles seeks Holmes help and reveals that he did stay at Wisteria Lodge and when he woke up in the morning, no one was available in the house including the servants. Holmes investigation reveals that crime is committed with much wider goals than everybody thought, as it was conspired by The Tiger of San Pedro, an overthrown dictator of Central America.
