The Cat and the Mouse and other stories, is a collection of Persian tales compiled and illustrated by the American illustrator John Rea Neill, remembered for his Oz books illustration. Apart from illustrating forty books of Frank Baum, he has also worked with Helen Bannerman for illustrating the book Little Black Sambo . This collection contains illustrated stories of four popular Persian tales such as The cat and the mouse, The son of the soap seller, The King’s treasure, and The King and the fisherman.
