The Children's Bible

Synopsis

The Children's Bible is the much sought after Bible version for the young readers, co-authored by Charles Foster Kent, Head of the Department of Religious Literature of Charles Scribner’s Sons and Henry A. Sherman, Woolsey Professor of Biblical literature in Yale University.

While the origin of the text is from the Bible itself from both old and new testaments, the selection is made and written in simple English which every child can easily understand and enjoy reading it. While it also can serve the elders whose native languages are non-English and lack the fluency in language. The authors’ twenty years of observation and study of Bible made them to select the testaments for the young minds, and while reading they should be able to learn the meaning of new words and idioms.
