Synopsis

The Masque of the Red Death is a gothic fiction short story written by the American author Edgar Allan Poe known for his mystery short tales such as The Cask of Amontillado, The Fall of the House of Usher, The Black Cat , and The Imp of the Perverse. The Masque of the Red Death narrates the story of the Prince Prospero, who attempts to escape from the dangerous and deadly plague.  His effort in hiding in a secured area goes in vain, and at last he has to face the in-evitable death.
