The Two Gentlemen of Verona is a comedy by William Shakespeare revolves around the theme of friendship, love and greed. Proteus unwilling to accompany his friend Valentine to Milan, as he is in love with Julia. Valentine leaves Verona and reaches Milan and falls in love with Silvia, the daughter of Duke of Milan. Duke banishes Valentine as he wants Julia to get married with Thurio, a wealthy foolish man. Valentine now joins the outlaws and awaiting for the opportunities. Meanwhile Proteus also comes to Milan and falls in love with Silvia forgetting his romance with Julia. The play ends with happy note as both pairs get married and outlaws are forgiven by Duke.
